Hey Creative Soul Faculty Team!

We are thrilled to gear up for another AMAZING SUMMER RECITAL weekend at George W. Cowden Hall on June 22nd-23rd, 2024!

Here are a few important reminders before the big event:

Important Links:

Attendance & Payroll Details:

1. Teacher Attendance Requirements:

   • Mandatory: Attend your assigned set if you have a student performing.
   • Not Required: No need to attend if you don’t have any performers in your set.

2. Payroll Information:

   • Recital Pay: Teachers attending their assigned set with performing students will be paid for that hour.
   • Accompaniment: Receive your usual hourly pay if you’re accompanying a student.
   • Support Role: If you’re attending to support students, Recital Pay will be at the minimum wage rate.

Pre-Event Preparations:

1. Upload Performance Materials:

   • MP3s, PDFs, Song Copies: Upload these to your Creative Soul shared teacher Google Drive folder to help our sound team keep the show on track.
   • Google Drive Folder: Contact the desk if you need access.

2. Performance Time Limit:

   • 2-Minute Limit: Ensure each student’s performance is cut down to 2 minutes to maintain our schedule. Exceptions apply if they are signed up for multiple slots and are designated as 4min on the Student Performer Sign Up Link Here

3. Please Make Sure to Review the Eventbriate FAQ / Sign-Up Details:

   • Eventbrite Sign-Up & Ticket Link with FAQs(CLICK HERE): Make sure you’re familiar with all details regarding the day of the show, including parking, arrival times, and protocols.

Day of Show Requests:

1. Arrival:

   • Check-In: Head to the Check-In table inside the double doors of the Venue Entrance upon arrival.

2. Before You Leave:

   • Photo Booth: Don’t forget to stop by and take photos with your excited students after your set!

3. In Case of Emergency:

   • Contact: If you’re sick or running late, please text Beth ASAP at (817) 874-1635 so we can make necessary adjustments.

4. Encourage Student Participation:

   • Sign-Up Slots: Encourage students to sign up. Performing is key to their retention and long-term success. Beginners can be accompanied if needed.
