🎶 Meet Meilan – Voice & Piano Instructor Meilan is a dedicated and encouraging music teacher who loves inspiring students to find their voice—both musically and personally. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Music with a concentration in Voice and a French minor from the University of North Texas, along with extensive training in both private and group voice settings. Recognized on the Dean’s List, she brings both academic excellence and heartfelt passion to her teaching. She teaches voice (advanced) and piano (beginner–intermediate), working with students of all ages—from toddlers to adults. Her lessons are both structured and fun, typically beginning with warm-ups and scales, then moving into pieces, theory, rhythm, and ear-training games. Each lesson ends with a clear plan, helping students stay motivated and confident in their progress. Meilan has teaching experience in private lessons and thrives on creating a supportive, encouraging environment. She currently teaches at our Fort Worth–Hulen, Southlake, Colleyville, and Keller/Watauga locations. Her teaching philosophy is simple: music should build confidence, joy, and self-expression. She loves watching her students grow not just as musicians, but as individuals who carry the lessons of music into every part of their lives.
