Meet Marco – Bass, Upright Bass, Guitar & Piano Instructor Marco is a passionate musician and educator who loves helping students build confidence, creativity, and a strong musical foundation. Teaching bass, upright bass, guitar, and piano, he brings an encouraging and engaging approach to lessons that helps students of all ages feel excited to learn and grow. Currently completing his Jazz Studies Performance degree at the University of North Texas, Marco has developed extensive experience as both a performer and mentor. He has coached students preparing for Region Jazz and TMEA auditions, helped high school musicians prepare for competitions, and enjoys guiding students toward reaching their personal musical goals. As a dedicated bassist, Marco is especially passionate about both electric bass and upright bass, helping students develop strong technique, musicality, and confidence. His background in jazz allows him to teach not only performance skills, but also creativity, improvisation, listening skills, and a deeper understanding of music. Families appreciate Marco's professionalism, patience, and ability to connect with students at their individual level. Whether working with a beginner learning their first notes or a more experienced musician looking to advance their skills, he creates lessons that are positive, motivating, and tailored to each student's interests.
