Marco is a passionate bass, upright bass, guitar, and piano instructor who loves helping students build confidence, creativity, and a strong musical foundation. His encouraging and engaging approach helps students of all ages feel comfortable exploring music while developing the skills they need to continue growing.
As a dedicated bassist and jazz musician, Marco brings both performance experience and a strong understanding of musicianship into his lessons. He especially enjoys helping students discover their own musical voice while building technique, listening skills, creativity, and confidence.
Marco believes music lessons should be positive, motivating, and personalized to each student. He takes the time to understand each musician's interests and goals, adapting lessons so students can progress at a pace that challenges them while keeping music enjoyable.
His jazz background allows him to incorporate performance, improvisation, listening skills, creativity, and musical understanding into lessons. Whether a student is learning their first notes or preparing for auditions and performances, Marco enjoys helping them take the next step with confidence.

Marco is currently completing his Jazz Studies Performance degree at the University of North Texas, where he continues to strengthen his skills as a performer and musician.
His experience also includes coaching students preparing for Region Jazz and TMEA auditions and helping high school musicians prepare for competitions. This combination of performance and mentoring experience allows Marco to support students with both everyday musical growth and more focused performance goals.
