Lyn is currently earning her B.M. in Performance from Texas Christian University and has a love for all things music and teaching. She participated in the TCU Flute Festival as a studio member, demonstrating improvisation in a baroque pop workshop as well as performing in a small ensemble Full Symphony Orchestra. She was Principal flutist for the Martin High School Symphony Orchestra and Performed for the Midwinters Superintendent Conference January 2020. She also performed in the TMEA Convention as the Full Honor Orchestra(2019) & Wind Symphony Principal flutist for the Martin High School Wind Symphony. She was head section leader during marching season and concert season. She received Honors & Awards 1st division in Martin High School Solo contest (2017-2019) and was 1st division in UIL Solo and Ensemble (2017- 2019). She is also a recipient of the John Phillips Sousa Award (2020) & Silver Feather Band Award (2020). We are ecstatic to have Lyn on our top notch Creative Soul Faculty!
