Jeff is a seasoned musician and local performer who enjoys teaching a variety of instruments including Drums, Violin, Guitar and Piano. He has taken lessons since a child, and joined his first band in Jr High and High School. He is a professional locally performing musician, leading various Bands such as Sahara Cross, playing for people all over the DFW area. He has performed at hundred of festivals, events, restaurants, coffee houses and private events over the past 30 years. His last band played in Cleburne and surrounding towns. He loves to teach a variety of genres including country music, rock music and other styles. He has an Associate of Arts from Tarrant County College, where he studied Jazz Guitar. He also has Recording Studio experience.Most recently he collaborated on a jingle for Tanya Tucker. His teaching styles range from musical styles of C&W, Rock, jazz, fusion, techniques like, alternate and sweep picking, arpeggios, pentatonic shapes and modes on guitar. He likes for aspiring to attain musical theory goals while having fun, where players to be able to know the difference between a major 7th and a dominant 7th. Although he's a proficient player of many instruments, his motto is to "always learn and adding things to your box of tools. Teaching opens up a door to his own further learning and understanding of music, just as much as to his students." We are ecstatic to have Jeff on our outstanding Creative Soul Faculty!
