Meet Jecoree – Drums, Percussion & Piano Instructor Jecoree is a dynamic percussionist and instructor with a strong background in drums, percussion, and ensemble leadership. With advanced experience in drums, bells, and percussion—plus beginner instruction in piano and harmonica—he brings both versatility and energy to every lesson. He has experience teaching bands, serving as a section leader, and working with drumlines, which gives him a team-oriented approach and a strong focus on rhythm, timing, and musical discipline. Jecoree loves helping students build confidence through solid fundamentals while keeping lessons engaging and fun. A graduate of Prairie View A&M University with a Bachelor’s degree in Animal Science, Jecoree values structure, consistency, and growth—qualities that show up clearly in his teaching style. He believes great musicians are built through encouragement, accountability, and steady practice. He enjoys working with students of all ages and helping them find their groove—one beat at a time.
