Meet Jacob – Jacob is a highly accomplished violin, viola and piano instructor with a strong academic and performance background. He holds an Associate of Music Degree and is currently completing his Bachelor’s degree at the University of North Texas, where he serves as Principal Violist of the UNT Concert Orchestra. He also brings notable honors, including being a winner of the Strings Category at the Florida Two-Year College Symposium and former Principal Violist of the Bradenton Symphony Orchestra. With over 10 years of viola experience and 5 years of violin performance, Jacob specializes in advanced violin and viola instruction. His teaching style emphasizes strong technique, scales, and musical foundation before moving into repertoire, auditions, or performance preparation—always tailored to each student’s goals. Jacob enjoys working with students of all ages, from young beginners to adults, and creates lessons that are structured, encouraging, and growth-focused. Jacob is passionate about helping students build confidence, discipline, and a lifelong appreciation for music through thoughtful, high-quality instruction.
