Meet Ebert Javier - known to his students as “EJ”, is a passionate music educator and multi-instrumentalist with a Bachelor’s Degree in Music Performance from the University of Guanajuato. With over two years of teaching experience, EJ has guided both kids, teens and adults in developing their skills and confidence across a variety of instruments. EJ specializes in saxophone (SATB), guitar and bass, piano and flute. Trained under professional saxophonist Juan Alzate, he brings both technical expertise and a creative spirit into every lesson. For EJ, music isn’t just about notes on a page—it’s about expression, connection, and joy. He loves how music brings people together, and he’s inspired by the endless possibilities it offers for discovery and growth. His teaching style combines structure with encouragement, creating a space where students feel both challenged and supported. Outside the classroom, EJ is a gamer, Whataburger fan, and proud “Sir Shreds” when it comes to rocking out on guitar. His favorite band is Between the Buried and Me, and if an animal could play his instrument, he swears an otter would make the perfect saxophonist thanks to its incredible lung capacity.
