Meet Damian – Cello, Guitar & Strings Instructor Damian is a dedicated and energetic strings instructor who brings kindness, heart, and a love of performing into every lesson. He teaches cello, guitar, guitarrón, and other strings, with cello being his favorite. He loves helping students build confidence, try new things, and enjoy the excitement of making music. Inspired by his orchestra director, Adriana Medina, Damian discovered early on how powerful a great teacher can be—and now he’s excited to give that same encouragement to his own students. His favorite part of music is the satisfaction of performing for an audience, and he enjoys guiding students from their first notes all the way to the stage. Families appreciate Damian’s fun, down-to-earth personality—especially his belief that a frog would make the best cello player! His advice to parents is full of wisdom: “Don’t be afraid to let your child fail—the only thing they can do is get better.” Damian teaches at our Fort Worth–Hulen, Fort Worth Camp Bowie, Keller/Watauga, Southlake, Colleyville, and Castle Hills/Lewisville Locations. Outside of lessons, Damian enjoys chess, fishing, and playing cello for fun, along with his favorite drinks—Coke Zero, Celsius, and water—and listening to Iron Maiden or Mariachi Sol de México. Damian can’t wait to meet your family and help your young musician grow with confidence, patience, and a whole lot of heart.
