Cydney Barnes has been a valued member of the Creative Soul Music School faculty since 2018, bringing warmth, creativity, and encouragement to every lesson she teaches. Her greatest musical passion is voice, and she also enjoys teaching piano and ukulele, helping students build strong musical foundations while discovering their own unique sound.
Cydney believes music is a powerful way for students to express themselves, connect with others, and grow in confidence. She loves watching students develop not only as musicians, but also as individuals who are proud of what they can accomplish.
Cydney's goal is to create a supportive and encouraging environment where students feel confident being themselves. She helps students develop their musical skills while making room for creativity, self-expression, and the music that inspires them.
Whether a student is discovering their singing voice, learning piano, or picking up the ukulele, Cydney encourages them to enjoy the process and celebrate their progress. She believes every student's musical journey is unique and that growth happens best with patience, practice, and plenty of encouragement.

Cydney's creativity extends beyond the lesson room. She enjoys songwriting, baking, crafting, and playing Dungeons & Dragons. She is inspired by artists including Jorge Rivera-Herrans and The Beatles and enjoys helping students explore the artists, songs, and styles that inspire them.
After years of teaching at Creative Soul, Cydney continues to love being part of each student's musical journey and looks forward to inspiring and supporting Creative Soul families for years to come.
