Meet Cooper - Cooper “Strad” is a versatile music instructor who loves drums, guitar, bass, and vocals, with drums being his favorite. He enjoys technology, video games, and writing when he’s not teaching or performing. His favorite restaurant treat is a Cherry Limeade, and his musical inspirations include Travis Barker (Blink-182), especially Adam’s Song. If an animal could play his instrument, he says an octopus would be perfect—so many arms to handle all the notes! Cooper’s favorite part about music is its power to communicate without words and make people feel deeply. He has experience in marching band leadership, college ensembles, and teaching beginners, and he loves helping students discover their own musical passions. His advice for parents: “Music is a gift for the brain and for life. It may be loud and messy at first, but encouraging your child to play and explore will give them a lifelong love for music and learning.”
