Meet Adam – Guitar, Drums, Bass & Piano Instructor Adam is a fun-loving, high-energy music educator who’s passionate about helping students discover just how exciting learning an instrument can be. He teaches guitar, drums, bass, and piano, with guitar being his all-time favorite—especially when he gets to plug in, rock out, and inspire students to do the same. Adam holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Music from the University of North Texas and a Master’s Degree in Educational Technology from Lamar University, and he’s been honored on the Dean’s List for his academic success. He brings a rich background of experience to Creative Soul through his work as a band director, choir director, modern band specialist, and private/group lesson teacher, giving him the tools to support students of all ages—from little beginners to seasoned teen musicians and adult learners. Inspired by a teacher who shaped his own musical journey, Adam loves creating a positive, uplifting environment where students feel supported, confident, and excited to grow. His favorite part of playing music is “making a great sound and seeing how it makes me or others feel,” and he brings that joy into every lesson. Whether teaching private lessons, small groups, or rock and worship band classes, Adam keeps things upbeat, structured, and full of heart. With his playful sense of humor—like his belief that an octopus would make the best guitarist—Adam keeps students smiling while helping them reach their goals. His encouragement for parents is simple and meaningful: “Be encouraging, supportive, and help them make goals and stick to them.” Adam teaches at our Keller/Watauga, Fort Worth–Hulen, Southlake, and Colleyville locations. He’s thrilled to bring his passion, experience, and enthusiasm to Creative Soul families. When he’s not teaching, you’ll likely find Adam fishing, cooking, or grilling BBQ, or grabbing his favorite meal from Chick-fil-A. He’s a big AC/DC fan—especially “It’s a Long Way to the Top”—and his buddies know him by his fun nickname: “Guitar Minion.” Adam can't wait to meet your family and help your musician shine—one fun, confidence-building lesson at a time.
