Micah is a Multi-instrumentalist with 6+ years of teaching experience to all ages in private and group lessons geared towards developing a passion, interest and inspiration for music. With a Bachelor's Degree and Music Minor in Performance for Cello from Northwestern State University, Micah has also enjoyed teaching in various music programs, childcare centers and Academy for the Arts. Micah loves to build confidence in our students by encouraging them to overcome stage fright by preparing them to play or sing in front of an audience. He also loves incorporating life lessons and skills using creative, age-appropriate songs alongside individually tailored curriculum to make learning more interesting and adventurous. He believes in helping students push through "mental barriers using self-composed songs to create a stress-free environment for education" that is fun and engaging.
