Colton is a pianist and vocalist who relocated to the DFW area from Victoria, Texas. Though having worked three years as a process engineer at a chemical plant, he maintained his passion for music that began at age 9 when he began piano lessons. In Victoria, he participated in multiple worship groups as a freelance worship pianist, and he led worship for 5 years at his home church, Martin Luther Lutheran Church. He also was the keyboardist for a band called Redeem a Nation in High School, and he participated in choir and men’s chorus during high school and college respectively. No longer living in his hometown, Colton is ready to take his music career to the next level, aspiring to be a full-time indie musician and songwriter. His specialties include classic rock, contemporary Christian, video game music, and his own original songs. He also plans to learn violin in the near future, taking his inspiration from Lindsey Stirling, so look out for possible violin lessons in the future as well! He is excited for the new opportunities that he will have to grow as a musician and as a person, as well as the opportunities to help others of all ages do the same. Colton feels that musicians need to learn to be forgiving of themselves and of others during practice and during performance. This way, they can can learn from their mistakes and grow rather than allow the mistakes to weigh them down and to prevent them from going forward.
